We arrived in the late afternoon to the Plaza Heritage in Kamloops.
It was an okay hotel (to me) as it was quite crampy in the ground floor lobby which wasn't impressive to this tired traveller.
But it was right in the centre of town and within short walking distance of most of the town's restaurants and cafes.
We had dinner in a nice newly-opened Japanese restaurant with good authentic Japanese cuisine. Can't recall the name, could be Sanbiki which is located at the very location shown in Google Maps.
