Coach transfer (included) to Hampton Inn & Suites (included) and check-in quickly completed, we walked and took the aquabus to Granville Island Public Market, a must-stop for Vancouver visitors.
It's bigger and better than the LA Farmers' Market.
Here's (below) my lovely Penny, happy as a child in a candy shop.
She bought fruits from Asian stall above; and another Asian fruit stall on the right, off the photo, which cheated her, sold her rotten fruits.
She bought sausages (left).
And maple syrup (below).
And smoked salmon from this stall.
Had it vacuum-packed at a packaging stall.
Nothing from this stall for us, we can get them cheaply at home in Singapore.
A dessert of fruits (very good, very sweet) on a bench at the buskers' square outside the market, after a terrible lunch of very bad fish, calamari and chips inside. Tasteless, too oily, lousey uncooked batter.
I'll never again have another meal of fish, calamari and chips sold by Chinese in a Western country.
No one backs in when parking their vehicles; unlike at home where Singaporeans always back in.
Here's the Granville Island website.
