I think the Banff Caribou Lodge was my favourite hotel stop.
It was located just outside town centre, but rooms came with complimentry passes on the city's environmentally friendly ROAM buses, and the bus stop was just 10 metres away.
It was a cosy comfortable hotel very well projected in this shot of the reception lobby.
Take a look at the "table" in the waiting area.
The hotel has three storeys and some upper floor suites and rooms come with balconies.
Check out those rustic flower pot boxes.
Spot the caribou horns?
The painting hanger bar, lah.
The fan's to help spread the heat from heating elements at floor/wall junction.
