We wanted to chicken out (paid fees would be refunded to credit card) but this very pursuasive guy who welcomed us changed our minds.
He later admitted that he hadn't been up himself!
Six minute flight over lowland and a hill or two but not over glaciers (further away?). For that you had to pay another $60 for another 12 minutes.
Flight manager picked me for the front seat. Whoohoo!
Was up effortlessly. Smoother than an elevator.
Photos were shot through the all around bubble window.
One or two shots caught reflections; like this one.
Pilot swung us close to this cliff face for a short lecture on the layers.
Then over to this little rocky hill.
Thats mist, not reflection off the cockpit window.
My left foot, on footrest over the bottom window.
Cool as a cucumber, this one, our pilot.
Shadow of our copter far down on ground below.
The one we went up in.
