A little coach transferred (included in the RailTour)us early next morning at 6am (had to skip hotel buffet brekky) to the Rocky Mountaineer building in the rail yards.
Nice new building with rest rooms, complimentry coffee in a small area with tables and chairs, and information boards.
Waved off Japanese-style by the uniformed staff.

Essentially, this train journey is for enjoyment of the scenery. The photos are better enjoyed if you click on them to enlarge to fill your PC monitor.
Spot the rafts in the pic above heading for the Maytag-3 (?) white water (below).
Multi-coloured hills, lots of green and greenery, clear cool fresh water.
Canadians are so very lucky.
But then, did you know that there are more plant species in our little Botanic Gardens in Singapore than in the whole of North America?
A close-up of the beauty of erosion.
Here's our train part-way out of a tunnel (above).
And coming round a wide curve in the river. (below).
The river's so-o-o wide (above), it's like the sea!
Another beautiful picture of erosion. Must click (below).
